CHILDCARE ASSISTANT

Excelsior Avenue, Castle Hill

Permanent part time – 25 hpw

We are a 40-place centre offering services for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years, providing quality meals prepared fresh daily by our onsite cook, spacious outdoor play areas that promote engagement and appreciation of the natural environment and an inclusive learning culture where children are encouraged to explore, interact, and make choices in a safe and supportive setting.

The role of our Childcare Assistants is to:

Actively supervise children in the delivery of our programs and activities and to facilitate positive relations with families in line with the Education and Care Services National Quality Framework.

What we are seeking:    

A positive and engaged person who holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Learning. As you will be responsible for the health and safety of our children you will also need to hold current First Aid in Education and Care Setting (HLTAID004) as well as CPR (HLTAID001).

A Working with Children Check and Drivers Licence is also a prerequisite for this role.

This role is 25 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 12:30-5:30pm at an hourly rate of $31.08 + superannuation.
