About the Opportunity
Join our small team as a Cemetery Leading Hand, where you'll lead and coordinate operations, provide compassionate service to our community, and contribute to maintaining an attractive outdoor space through gardening and greening, all while working in a supportive environment.

 

What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

  • Current Drivers Licence with a medium rigid (MR) endorsement.
  • A high level understanding and ability to undertake horticultural practices as required in a Cemetery environment.
  • Eye for detail and passion for our gardens and open spaces to thrive all year-round and be enthusiastic about having a variety of responsibilities
  • Effective time management and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are crucial.
  • This work is physical, so a good level of health and fitness is required.

 

Salary and conditions

The position is classified within Band 4 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $72,599 to $77,343 per annum includes allowances plus statutory superannuation and leave loading.
