The Package: $47.53 - $52.52 gross per hour + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

A merit pool will be established from this recruitment process that will be utilised for similar positions across Braidwood, Bungendore and Queanbeyan.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver professional customer service across multiple channels, assisting with inquiries about roads, waste, water, sewer, and parks.
  • Support internal departments by responding to customer inquiries and providing general administrative assistance, including processing invoices and maintaining records.
  • Manage a variety of Council-related payment transactions accurately and efficiently.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in customer service with a focus on friendly and positive interactions.
  • Is familiar with Microsoft Office and comfortable working with electronic records.
  • Has previous experience in cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, and daily banking functions.
