Title: Car Park Attendant, Permanent - Full-time Role, 38 hours per week
Salary Range: $64206.3 to $74617.94 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Reporting to the Senior Car Park Attendant the Car Park Attendant is responsible for assisting in the running of Council’s car parking facilities through the efficient and effective daily operation of the Off-Street Parking Stations within the Manly CBD, Dee Why PCYC and the parking meters both on-street and in reserves.
• Enhancing customer satisfaction through consistent, responsive and polite handling of enquiries
• Ensuring all gates and shutters are in good working order and reporting as necessary
• Conducting carpark checks and ensuring all equipment and council assets are in good working order
• Cash handling and management
• Collecting parking fees through the parking management system and issuing receipts
• Providing customer assistance at entry, exit gates and carparks
• Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance and cleaning of car park equipment
• Maintaining and updating lists of Council permit and pass-card holders
• Conducting periodic checks on permanent permit holders to ensure they are complying with the rules for their use
