Bring insight, integrity, and leadership to this high-impact strategic risk role at the heart of the City of Perth.

We are seeking an experienced Audit and Risk Manager to lead the City’s internal audit and enterprise risk functions. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in complexity, delivers high-quality governance outcomes, and can influence strategic decision-making at the Executive and Council level.

You will oversee audit delivery, strengthen enterprise risk frameworks, and guide a small, high-performing team to embed a culture of accountability and resilience across the organisation.

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience leading audit and risk functions in complex public or corporate settings
  • Demonstrated success in advising Executives and Audit and Risk Committees at a strategic level
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise risk, internal control, and audit frameworks
  • Full professional membership with IIA, CPA Australia, or Chartered Accountants ANZ
  • A collaborative leadership style with a focus on developing talent and driving organisational capability
