Your Opportunity as an Asset Officer

The Asset Officer position plays a critical role in supporting the Strategic Asset Management Team by providing technical assistance and project management capabilities. Reporting to the Coordinator Asset Data and Systems, you will engage in various activities aimed at maintaining and improving our asset portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include offering technical support related to asset management tasks, engaging with stakeholders, and assisting in planning and data collection efforts. You will also maintain asset registers, supervise contractors, and ensure adherence to project standards and guidelines.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field and a Class C driver licence are essential.
  • Experience in asset management and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in asset management or a related field, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will be a motivated team player who is keen to contribute to community-focused initiatives.

  • Tertiary qualifications in asset management, engineering, environmental management, or a related discipline.
  • Class C driver licence.
  • Experience in asset management, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and project administration.
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and conducting data analysis.

  • Package: $85,000 - $93,000 p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation (Salary will be determined based on the skills and experience of successful candidate)
  • Hours of work: Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flexitime arrangement
