Position Overview

As an Asset Inspection Officer, you will embark on a vital mission to inspect and assess the condition of our roadways, footpaths, stormwater assets, and more. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will ensure that all inspections are performed meticulously and within the designated timelines. You will be responsible for identifying maintenance defects according to our Service Level Agreements and communicating effectively with residents about necessary actions.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being outdoors, values teamwork, and is dedicated to enhancing public safety and infrastructure quality. Your contributions will help shape the future of our community's civil assets!

The Ideal Candidate

Are you ready to take on the challenge? We are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for civil operations and community service.  To be successful in this role we are looking for:

  • Class C driver licence, Construction white card, Traffic controller certification.
  • Previous experience in road and drainage maintenance/restoration.
  • Proficient in using technology for logging defects and able to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Civil Construction and Maintenance Certificate 3 is desirable as well as knowledge of maintenance methods.

  • Package: From $64,805 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Hours of work: Permanent full time 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight
