Area Maintenance Person (Vegetation Management)

  • Picton location
  • Permanent Full-Time position
  • Salary commencing from $65,528 + 11.5% Superannuation
  • 38-hour week with fortnightly RDO

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you'll put your skills and knowledge of vegetation management to work, helping us preserve and enhance the green spaces our community loves.

We’re seeking someone who not only brings passion for the environment but can also clearly demonstrate their capability by meeting the essential criteria outlined below.

  • A minimum of twelve (12) months demonstrated relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the safe operation of plant and equipment, namely the use of tractors, slashers and reach arm mowers.
  • Experience with undertaking vegetation management works including on roadside reserves.
  • Experience in maintaining of public open spaces
  • Experience in the application of herbicides on roadsides and public reserves.
  • Work Health and Safety General Induction for Construction Work in NSW (White Card).
  • Current NSW MR Drivers Licence.
