Apprentice Plumber
- Salary $43,024.80 p/a to $55,816.80 p/a + super
- Temporary full-time position (up to 4 Years)
- 38 hours per week/ 9 day fortnight
- Undertake on-the-job training while studying to achieve a Plumbing Trade qualification

About the role
Are you ready to start a hands-on career in plumbing with a supportive and experienced team?
Council is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Plumber to join our team and gain practical skills while studying towards a nationally recognised plumbing qualification.
Reporting to the Supervisor Trade Services, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Installing, repairing and maintaining water and drainage systems
- Assisting with construction and maintenance of Council’s water infrastructure
- Learning and applying safety standards, codes and plumbing regulations
- Gaining experience in modern plumbing tools and equipment
Required experience & skills:
- Year 10 Record of School Achievement or Higher School Certificate
- Commitment to complete the Certificate III in Plumbing trade qualification
- Current Class C Driver’s licence
- A genuine interest in plumbing and working outdoors
- Reliable, willing to learn, and works well in a team
Complete your Certificate III in Plumbing while gaining valuable on-the-job training in a supportive local government environment.
