  • $63,966 p.a. plus superannuation

The Position

The Building and Planning Administration Officer, reporting to the Manager Planning and Development, will work collaboratively with the Planning and Development Services team to ensure the efficient administration function of all building, plumbing and planning matters are processed in accordance with the relevant legislation and timeframes.

The position will co-ordinate all direct customer interactions relating to building, plumbing and planning matters and ensure the customer is provided with the relevant information required to lodge an application and other relevant matters either through the on-line services process, telephone, email or counter enquiry.

About You

You will have achieved the completion of year 12 or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience and a minimum of 1 year administration experience in a medium to large organisation. You will have an excellent phone manner, reception and administration skills. Additionally, you will be proficient in the use of officer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
