OOSH Educator / Relief Educational Leader (Part Time)
About the role
This position is a permanent, part-time role in the Children’s Services team, based at the Narooma OOSH Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the provision of Out of School Hours (OOSH) services.
The starting salary for this position is $33.96 per hour plus 12% superannuation.

About you
As an OOSH Educator you will be part of a team responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, healthy and caring environment, fostering the children’s developmental and educational potential. For this role you must be over the age of 18. Your application should further demonstrate:
- An interest and enjoyment in working with children.
- Understand the social and recreational needs of 5–12-year-old children.
- Ability to step up to a supervisory role demonstrating team leadership skills, initiative, and experience in planning daily activities.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently with the children and their families.

Screening process
Pre‑employment Checks:
As part of our recruitment process, you may be asked to provide contact details for two work‑related referees. These will be collected at the interview stage. At least one referee should be your current supervisor or a recent past supervisor (of at least three months).
Depending on the position, successful applicants may also be required to complete a Criminal History Check, Medical Assessment and/or a Working with Children Check.
