About the position:
As Depot Supervisor, you will oversee the effective management of construction and maintenance supplies, ensuring efficient depot operations and asset management. The role is responsible for depot maintenance and security, minor plant coordination, compliance inspections, and the procurement, allocation, maintenance, and disposal of minor plant and equipment.
This role is offered on a 9‑day fortnight, giving you every second Friday off to recharge, plan adventures, or enjoy more time doing what matters to you.
Key accountabilities:
- Coordinate day to day depot stores and yard operations including but not limited to managing material stockpiles, booking out minor plant and equipment.
- Manage minor plant and equipment storage and bookings in accordance with the operational procedures, record and report any non-conformance to relevant Supervisor and/or Manager.
- Maintain depot fuel supplies and material stockpiles in a tidy state, ensuring quantities are sufficient at all times for the working week ahead.
- Ensure all depot stock is accurately recorded and have account numbers allocated for correct charging out or disposing.

Position requirements:
The successful applicant will ideally have nationally recognised qualification in Logistics or Warehousing with on the job experience and demonstrated ability to manage stores, depot and fleet operations.
Applicants who have significant knowledge, skills and experience but do not have formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits:
A salary ranging from $89,127 per annum to $100,195 per annum will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.

iii. Proven experience in minor plant maintenance, mechanical repairs.
iv. Sound knowledge of stores management, depot and fleet operations, including stock control, together with effective organisational and time management skills.
v. Sound knowledge of computer software programs relating to stores management and Microsoft Office Applications.
