How you’ll make an impact

As a Water Services Operator you will be responsible for operating and monitoring Council’s water treatment plant and network operations. This is a hands-on role where you will work as part of a team to deliver reliable and compliant water services by applying your skills, knowledge and experience. This position offers a salary ranging from $64,360 to $81,993 gross per annum, plus superannuation (12 per cent), with
commencing salary dependant on qualifications, skills, qualifications and
experience.

What you’ll bring to our team

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• To hold a Certificate III Water Industry Operations
• Ability to work with a small team to achieve organisational outcomes
• Experience operating, maintaining, and repairing
  water treatment and pumping facilities, and working with Drinking Water Quality
  Systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and
  communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

• Prepared to work according to a 7-day
  spread-of-hours on-call roster and perform overtime duties (as applicable)
  where directed.
