In this position you will provide high-quality café service at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre by preparing and serving coffee, light meals, and table service to customers.  You will also support catering for events and functions, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and deliver excellent customer service at all times.  You will be required to work collaboratively within the café and wider Cultural Centre team while adhering to workplace health and safety standards and maintaining a professional presentation.  You will also have previous experience in a café or restaurant environment, with demonstrated skills in customer service, food preparation, and use of café equipment such as coffee machines and POS systems and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy setting, handle cash and reconciliations, and maintain food safety and WHS standards. RSA certification is essential, and barista experience is highly desirable, with a creative approach to food service considered an advantage.

Hours of work are:

Monday     9:00am to 4:00pm (6.5 hours / 30 minute break)
Friday        8:30am to 4:00pm (7 hours / 30 minute break)
Saturday   8:30am to 3:30pm (6.5 hours / 30 minute break)
Sunday     8:30am to 3:30pm (6.5 hours / 30 minute break)

TOTAL:     53 hours per fortnight

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $54,801 (pro-rata) gross per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
