You’ll find growth through:

• Leading and coordinating day-to-day civil construction and maintenance works across your assigned area
• Planning and scheduling crews, contractors and resources to deliver projects safely, efficiently and on time
• Supervising and supporting a team of outdoor staff, ensuring performance, safety and quality standards are met
• Engaging with the community, stakeholders and internal teams to respond to enquiries and deliver positive outcomes
• Managing multiple projects and responding to operational priorities, including urgent or emergency works

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision or related discipline.
• General Construction Induction card and Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan ticket.
• Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft office programs, including email.
• Ability to effectively supervise staff and contribute to staff development.
• Class C Drivers Licence.

We would also love you to have:

• Previous Local Government experience in a civil construction environment.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control Systems

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $88,171, to $102,468.
