The Opportunity
As a Facilities Contract Manager in the City of Perth, you will lead the strategic management and procurement of more than 50 facilities maintenance and service contracts across the City’s diverse property portfolio. Responsible for contract performance, renewal, compliance, planned maintenance programs and the Property Help Desk, you will play a key role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, efficient and fit for purpose.
Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management within our Properties team, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Leading the procurement, management and performance of facilities maintenance and service contracts;
- Driving contract compliance, contractor performance, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Overseeing planned maintenance programs, contract renewals and financial administration across the property portfolio; and
- Leading and supporting the Property Help Desk and maintenance planning team to deliver high-quality services to internal and external stakeholders.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Significant experience in facilities management, contract administration and service delivery;
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, manage and improve complex contracts and vendor relationships;
- Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance and compliance requirements, procurement and WHS obligations; and
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop teams, manage performance and build strong stakeholder relationships.
