About the role
This position is responsible for the timely and
accurate assessment of applications for review of infringement notices issued
by Council’s regulatory officers. It
will provide administrative support for the infringement review processes and
prosecution functions. Liaison and
correspondence with the public will be required.
Skills and experience
- Well-developed ability to assess
applications relative to legislated and policy criteria. - Previous
experience in administration involving tasks of a diverse
nature, including customer
relations and computer
related duties is essential. - Reliable decision-making skills with
attention to detail. - A good understanding of legal practices as
relevant to infringements/Court processes or willingness and ability to develop
knowledge as required. - Ability to solve problems through
discussion, consultation and teamwork.
