The Opportunity

We're looking for a dynamic leader to oversee and enhance the City’s critical Operational Technology systems — including CCTV, carparks, building management, and lighting control. You'll ensure these systems are secure, reliable, and support community safety and seamless facility operations. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to lead maintenance, upgrades, incident response, and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Manager ICT Security and Technology Infrastructure, your responsibilities would primarily include:

  • Coordinate and deliver efficient city-wide Operational Technology services, including Surveillance, Carparks, Lighting Control, and Building Management systems;
  • Coordinate contractors to promptly resolve technical issues, complete repairs and together maintain up-to-date technical documentation for the City’s operational technology systems;
  • Coordinate with the City’s internal teams and the contractors to ensure successful delivery of projects; and
  • Assist in developing maintenance and procurement specifications, including scopes of work and tender documentation for operational and capital projects.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Experience coordinating support and maintenance of enterprise-grade operational technology systems, including CCTV;
  • Working knowledge and experience with Building Management, Lighting Control, Cisco and RUCKUS networking, and fibre optics;
  • Strong time management, analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and part of a team; and
  • Familiarity of cyber security principles in relation to securely deploying and managing (such as patch management) operational technologies.
