About the opportunity
This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a suitably qualified professional to join the FOGO and Resource Recovery team as the Resources Management Project Officer - Multi-Unit Dwellings.
The successful candidate will deliver leading and innovative waste, resource recovery and behaviour change projects and effective service provision to multi-unit dwellings in Blacktown City. This role is responsible for developing and delivering projects, building partnerships with key stakeholders and providing support and services to multi-unit dwellings residents.

Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in environmental science or related field
- Relevant local government experience
- Solid experience in the development of strategies, policies and programs related to waste management in multi-unit dwellings
- Current class C driver's licence.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,730.04 per week
- 35-hour working week
- Car allowance
- Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
