Stadium Manager - Campbelltown Sports Stadium 

  • Permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week) 
  • Competitive salary package up to $155,793.37 per annum

About the role: 

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced, energetic and proactive leader at the Campbelltown Sports Stadium – home of the Macarthur Bulls, regular host to the West Tigers and a variety of community events including 150 Athletics Carnivals across the year.

The Manager Stadia is a vital role that is responsible for providing strong leadership to the onsite operational team, managing key stakeholders and leading the development of exciting new event opportunities. 

You will also play a key role in the delivery of the new Centre of Excellence due to be completed by the end of 2027 at Campbelltown stadium. 

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

  • Providing hands-on managerial support and leadership to a small but proactive operational team  
  • Delivering a high quality, safe, customer experience to our community and partners
  • Development of new event opportunities to enhance the stadium portfolio   
  • Leading, motivating and coordinating a multi -discipline team to deliver high quality outcomes fostering a positive team environment.
  • Managing the financial sustainability and operational aspects of the Campbelltown Sports Stadium within the context of the Operational Plan and Annual Budget.
  • Initiate and maintain effective community partnerships to deliver on the Community Strategic Plan outcomes.
  • Contract management and ensuring service level agreements are maintained at a high level and reviewed accordingly.
  • Attend stadia events on weekends and public holidays leading the team in the role as Chief Warden.   
  • Play a key role in the operational planning, delivery and opening of the new Centre of Excellence  

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes: 

  • Extensive industry experience relevant to the management of a Sports Stadium with a focus on large scale events (stadium/arena).
  • Ability to effectively lead, motivate and coordinate a multi-disciplined team to deliver high quality outcomes, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Effectively communicate and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing excellent customer experience and the ability to listen to key stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
