About the role

This position is a permanent full-time role in the Technical Services team and is based at the Moruya Administration Office. The successful candidate will prepare and review environmental documentation and obtain relevant environmental approvals to allow Council projects to proceed.

 

The starting salary for this position is $87,284.40 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation.

About you

The ideal candidate for this exciting position will be a great communicator with project management skills and experience in preparing environmental reports. Your application will further demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant qualifications in an environmental or engineering field.
  • High level negotiation skills.
  • High level of analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of the Local Government Act, 1993.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant NSW and Australian Environmental Legislation and REFs (or similar) for Civil Construction projects.
