The Role
Reporting to the Coordinator Project
Delivery and based in Windsor, NSW this role provides technical supervision in
the delivery of surveillance and inspection of the Project Delivery Program of
Works. This role is responsible for minimising the technical and quality risks
in the delivery of the branch’s projects.
About You
You will have significant experience in construction techniques, methodologies
and principles. You will demonstrate well-developed communication skills, which
will be crucial in building constructive relationships with contractors and
other stakeholders to effectively undertake construction works. You will have
experience verifying compliance of completed civil works including asset
specifications, contracts and policies and through the surveillance of
contractors.
Essential Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification and demonstrated
experience in a similar role - Demonstrated experience working across various
Civil Works including roads, buildings, open spaces, bridges etc - Demonstrated experience in construction techniques,
methodologies and principles - Well-developed communication (verbal and
written) skills - Demonstrated ability to complete work tasks
within set budgets, timeframes and standards - Experience in applying legal, policy and
organisational guidelines and procedures relating to project and contract
administration - Ability to monitor contract administration
processes to ensure they are accurate, open and transparent - Demonstrated experience in record management
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Class C Drivers Licence
- WHS General Construction Work in NSW
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Successful applicants will be required to
undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
