About the opportunity

Shape the future of our sports fields! We are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our dynamic Greenspace Services team on a term contract, full-time basis for up to 4 years. You will embark on a structured learning journey, attending and successfully completing your Certificate III in Sports Turf Management with a leading Registered Training Organisation.

From day one, you will be actively involved in maintaining our high standards for the quality and output of work, aligned with each stage of your apprenticeship. You will apply your growing knowledge and skills in real-world practices, successfully completing subjects as you progress. As you develop, you will find yourself needing less guidance and demonstrating increasing competence in all your duties.

You will also learn the intricacies of operating and maintaining sports field irrigation systems and a variety of small plant and equipment, always with a focus on safety and efficiency. We will equip you with the ability to select and utilise the correct tools and methods for every task within the trade.

Working in accordance with our safe working code of practice is paramount. We expect your unwavering commitment to high standards in both the quality and quantity of your work. An ideal candidate will diligently learn and conscientiously apply new knowledge and skills, striving to successfully complete all formal training to achieve competency in each unit.
