About the role:
Are you exceptionally organised? Do you have above average attention to detail? We want to hear from you! The Hills Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated and experience individual to join our team as a Group Support Officer. We are seeking a highly engaging and dynamic superstar to provide administrative support to the Subdivision and Development Assessment team.
What this role looks like:
- Office administration and general office support as well as assisting with information and document management
- Assist in allocating tasks and documents relating to Development Applications and Post Consent Certificates
- Update and maintain information in Council’s corporate systems
- Prepare, coordinate and finalise development consents and/or construction certificates.
- Raise purchase orders and receive goods
- Maintain the development tracking system
What are we seeking in our new team member:
- A self-motivated, enthusiastic team member
- Excellent verbal, written & interpersonal and organisational skills
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Packages (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) and other corporate computer systems
- High level organisational and prioritisation skills
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with customer enquiries in an efficient & courteous manner
- Certificate III in Business Administration or related field or relevant industry experience
- Drivers Licence (Class C) – NSW
Position details:
Competitive rate of pay $72K per annum, pro-rata (excluding superannuation)
