About the Role
This position is responsible for supporting and supervising staff and contractors to maintain, develop and present Council's showgrounds, sporting fields and destination parks and the day to day operations of the Shoalhaven Swim Sport Fitness Precinct Team. This includes:

  • Implementing processes and protocol are in place, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and council policies
  • Develop proposals and seek resources to maintain and where possible improve the standards of Council's showgrounds, sporting fields and destination parks
  • Identify ways to utilise available resources efficiently, adjusting schedules and budgets to achieve required performance and presentation output
  • Actively lead and monitor the performance of the precinct team, encouraging teamwork and collaboration and a positive workplace

About You

To be successful in the position, you will have:

  • Horticulture Certificate IV or similar qualifications/experience
  • Class C Driver's Licence
  • Proof of Right to Work in Australia

We are looking for someone who is able to foster teamwork and provide direction to deliver services within our community.
