About the role
As a Digital Content Producer at Bayside Council, you will be at the forefront of our digital communications strategy, creating engaging and high-quality multimedia content that captivates our audience and enhances our online presence.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and deliver compelling multimedia content and communications campaigns across Council’s digital platforms.
- Design and execute innovative communication campaigns and digital projects to achieve Council’s objectives.
- Capture, produce, and edit creative, accurate, and informative content that aligns with Council’s guidelines.
- Manage Council’s online presence, monitor social media platforms, and respond to issues in real-time.
- Conduct regular analysis of usage statistics and produce insightful reports to inform and refine communication strategies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative culture through open, fair, and transparent decision-making.
About you
We are looking for an experienced and creative communications professional who is:
- A creative, driven digital content producer with a passion for photography, communication and storytelling.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Premiere Pro, Photoshop) and the Meta Business Suite.
- Experienced in content creation and photography, from camera setup and direction to editing.
- Confident working under pressure, managing multiple projects, and meeting tight deadlines.
- A proactive team player who’s always looking to innovate, learn, and push creative boundaries.
- An expert communicator with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
Essential requirements
The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing or a related field.
- A current Class C Drivers Licence
- Proven experience in a similar role with a deep understanding of the digital media landscape.
