About the role
Bathurst Regional Council has an exciting opportunity available to join the Children's Services Team in the role of Administration Officer.
The Children’s Services Administration Officer plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Children’s Services administration systems.
Your strong organisational skills will help deliver seamless support behind the scenes to provide exceptional customer service. You'll be the first point of contact for families offering guidance, building trust, and helping them navigate all aspects of their childcare journey with ease.
You will hold a current Working with Children Check and be Able to meet the requirements set out in the Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013.
Key Requirements
- Deliver accurate and timely administrative support
- Operate and maintain systems, including the Child Care Management System (CCMS).
- Provide high-quality customer service to families and the community.
- Share clear, helpful information about Children’s Services programs and processes.
- Certificate II in Business or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years office administration experience, in particular childcare services

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug and alcohol screen.
Salary: $1,044.00 to $1,096.90 per week + superannuation
Position Status: Permanent Full-time
Hours of work: 35 hours per week with an RDO every third week
