Join CBCity as a Talent Management Officer – Shape the Future of Our Workforce!

 

Are you passionate about people and process? CBCity is on the lookout for a driven Talent Management Officer to become a key member of our HR Unit. In this role, you'll take the lead in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from attracting top talent to supporting successful appointments across Council.

 

Reporting to the Team Leader Talent Management, you’ll provide expert advice to hiring managers, ensure compliance with Council’s policies and procedures and help deliver a seamless, professional experience for every candidate.

 

 

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders across Council to deliver effective, tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment through the HRIS platform, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely progression.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to deliver a seamless experience for hiring managers and candidates.
  • Draft engaging job ads aligned with Council’s employer brand and advertise across relevant platforms.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening, including police and WWCC checks, references, medicals, psychometric testing, and qualifications.
  • Organise and schedule interviews, group assessments, and prepare timely letters of offer.
  • Support onboarding to ensure new starters have a smooth and positive entry to Council.
  • Contribute to youth and community-focused programs including Work Experience, TAG, and grant-funded initiatives.
  • Support the contingent workforce through collaboration with the Managed Service Provider.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all recruitment activities.
  • Provide ongoing support and respond to queries relating to the contingent workforce through collaboration with the Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Team Leader Talent Management.

You will have

  • 1–2 years’ experience coordinating end-to-end recruitment within a dynamic or multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Experience using HRIS/Recruitment platforms (such as SuccessFactors) to streamline and track recruitment workflows.
  • A strong ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confidence as a communicator, with strong written and verbal skills, including professional reporting and correspondence.

 

Experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors, SHL Psychometric testing, or a qualification in HR/IR/ER is not essential but would be advantageous.

 

 

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $80,293 (Grade F, Step 1) + 11.5% super. Salary is negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
