About the Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Council's Digital Innovation, Information and Technology section for a people focused leader to oversee the software team. Reporting to the Information Technology Team leader you will lead a small team responsible for delivering and maintaining existing sector leading business solutions through a suite of corporate systems.

Your effective communication and project management skills will see you consulting with business owners and users to analyse processes, determine business requirements and pursue opportunities for improvement. 

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:

  • Information Technology related degree, or extensive applicable and equivalent industry experience.
  • Extensive experience project management and team management with a proven ability to deliver results.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering and improving existing solutions that drive digitisation of business processes.
  • Extensive experience in managing the delivery of software solutions by leveraging market leading platforms such as Salesforce or similar.
  • A proven track record of improving and maintaining levels of customer engagement and satisfaction with robust project delivery and follow up support.
  • A proven track record of planning and delivering software projects on time and on budget with business requirements being satisfied.
