We have three exciting opportunities to join a dedicated team committed to driving transparent, effective, and values-based decision-making at the heart of the City of Perth. In these roles, you’ll help shape policy direction and develop processes that respond to the City’s evolving needs. Council Governance and Policy Coordinator
- $121,110 to $128,317 per annum, plus super
- Full time, permanent
Join us as the Council Governance and Policy Coordinator and take the lead in driving strong governance and policy frameworks across the City. In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee essential governance and electoral functions, support informed council decision-making, and promote a culture rooted in integrity, accountability, and respect. Use your local government expertise to shape impactful outcomes and contribute to the future of our capital city.
Council Governance and Policy Officers
- $98,141 – $103,949
- Full time, permanent; and
- Full time, fixed-term for 12 months
As one of our Council Governance and Policy Officers, you’ll play a key role in supporting high-level decision-making by facilitating Council and executive meetings, coordinating local government elections, and helping shape procedures that ensure business continuity.

Eligibility
To be eligible to work for us, you will need to demonstrate:
- A right to work in Australia (e.g. a birth certificate, current passport or current visa);
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
