About the role
The primary purpose of the Environmental Protection Manager position is to provide leadership, direction and support to team members responsible for the regulatory enforcement of environmental protection and public health and safety laws, and the enforcement of building and planning laws.
About you
Your new role requires experience in the enforcement processes under:
- Protection of the Environment Operations Act
- Environmental Planning and Assessment Act
- Local Government Act
- Contaminated Lands Management Act
- Food Act
- Public Health Act
In addition, you will have experience in managing Land and Environment and Local Court appeals and civil enforcements. You will be Degree qualified with major studies in an environmental management, environmental science, environmental health, or related discipline.
