About the role
Join the City of Coffs Harbour as a Supervisor Wastewater Maintenance; a crucial role that combines leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in maintaining our vital wastewater infrastructure. We are seeking a dynamic individual eager to lead a skilled team in optimising the performance of our wastewater assets while helping to enhance community connections through superior service delivery.
You'll be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance work on rising mains, gravity sewer mains, manholes, junctions, and house service lines, ensuring compliance with City standards and safety protocols.
Your leadership will guide a dedicated team as you oversee daily operations and quality assurance for wastewater maintenance. You will manage the maintenance and repair schedule, ensuring tasks are prioritised effectively, and that all work carried out meets the required technical standards. With your communication skills, you will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including contractors, staff, and community members, ensuring that all service requests and customer complaints are addressed promptly and effectively.

About You
- Cert IV in Water Operations (or similar)
- National Construction Induction (White Card)
- MR Class Drivers Licence
- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
- Work Safely at Heights
- Relevant experience in a leadership / supervisory capacity

- Competitive salary starting at $73,225.52 per annum, plus 11.5 % superannuation.
- Live Sewer and On-Call allowances paid when applicable.
- Permanent Full-Time 38 hours per week.
