On offer, depending on experience, we have two Building Certifier roles where you’ll play a key role in facilitating development and ensuring sustainable growth across Dubbo and Wellington. In the position of Building Certifier you will have the opportunity to provide efficient and professional advice to builders, developers, the public and Council teams. This hands-on role will allow you to apply your expertise in building certification, while utilising your strong customer service and communication skills to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You'll find growth through:

  • Efficiently and effectively processing Development, Complying Development and Construction Certificate Applications.
  • Conducting inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Providing specialist and technical advice to stakeholders
  • Preparing accurate and timely reports.
  • Maintaining accurate and current computer databases and schedules.


What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Currently hold a minimum class of Building Surveyor – Restricted (Class 1 -10) (formerly
    A3) under the Building
    Commission NSW Registration Scheme
  • Currently
    hold a minimum class of Building Surveyor – Restricted (all classes of
    building) (formerly A2) under the Building Commission NSW Registration
    Scheme, for the Senior Building Development Certifier position
  • Demonstrated competency and familiarity with the Building Code of Australia and associated legislation
  • Demonstrated organisation and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated computer literacy

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $85,603 to $108,924. A leaseback vehicle is also available.

The Building Development Certifier position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $85,603 to $99,483.

The Senior Building Development Certifier position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $93,725 to $108,924.
