Description
The Shire of Halls Creek is situated in the in the beautiful Kimberley region and is seeking applications from a suitably qualified and experienced Rangers to fill the position of Senior Ranger.
Reporting directly to the Director Health and Regulatory Services, this unique opportunity for a Full-Time role will see you responsible for local laws enforcement, companion animal health, pollution control (including littering and illegal dumping), mosquito vector control and other the control of other vector/pests and the functioning of the Ranger’s section.

The salary for these roles is negotiable according to qualifications and experience.
Key personal attributes
To be considered for these roles, you must have a Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or Municipal Law A and B, Regulatory Officer Compliance Skills (ROCS) 1 & 2 equivalent, C Class drivers’ license, be aware of Aboriginal culture and be able to work semi-autonomously. Applicants who do not possess any of these qualifications will not be considered.
