About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists within the Financial Services unit for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in the delivery of management accounting services including budgeting, design and delivery of financial strategies and framework, management reporting and business partnering.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with business managers in the areas of budget development, financial performance analysis and reporting, development of business cases, financial models, tender evaluations and provide strategic advice on other financial matters.
  • Lead the design and delivery of financial strategies and frameworks that measure and manage service delivery costs to deliver improved financial outcomes.
  • Identify revenue generation opportunities and drive implementation for ongoing financial sustainability.
  • Provide expert technical advice and leadership to business stakeholders regarding cost management processes and systems.
  • Analyse and report on business performance and make sound recommendations for improved financial outcomes.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.

Skills and Experience

  • Substantial and diverse experience in a Management Accounting role including budgeting, management reporting and business partnering
  • Proven success in reviewing data, developing innovative solutions to complex problems and presenting recommendations
  • Experience in developing business cases and financial modelling
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies to deliver positive financial outcomes
  • CPA/CA qualified and relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or similar
