Project Technical Partner

About the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Project Technical Partner with excellent communication and collaboration skills, to be an integral member of this motivated and passionate City Projects team.
As a member of the City Services directorate at Campbelltown City Council, you will be working within a high performing team that is tasked with driving Council’s future direction by advancing the connectivity, sustainability, liveability and productivity of the City.

In this position, you will:

  • Use your knowledge and experience of why and how projects are successfully managed to undertake Project Audits and Health Checks
  • Lead Gate Reviews as required within Council’s Project Management Framework
  • Coordinate flow of documentation between key stakeholders for Gate Reviews
  • Schedule reviews according to the Project Management Lifecycle phases
  • Provide technical support to the Project Management Office

To be successful in your application you will demonstrate:

  • Relevant qualifications in Project Management or business administration and/or relevant job-related experience. 
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and the full project lifecycle.
  • Previous project reporting / Budgeting / Governance / Audit experience
  • Proficiency in using the suite of Microsoft products, including Microsoft Project
  • Well-developed organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills including report writing and analysis of data.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Class C Drivers Licence

Desirable:

  • Understanding of the role and functions of Local Government
  • Experience in using Microsoft Visio, Pulse and Technology1 modules.
  • Experience with Power BI
