SALARY: $1817.26 - 2082.44 pw + Super

Work Type: Permanent Full Time

Are you a risk management expert looking to make a meaningful impact? Camden Council is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Project Risk and Assurance Specialist.

As the Project Risk and Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the council. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with key projects, as well as providing assurance to stakeholders at all levels.

Essential

  • Experience and tertiary qualifications in risk management and/or project management.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in risk management.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities and projects and the flexibility to work with changing circumstances. Demonstrated
  • Demonstrated ability to provide advice, support and communicate to a broad range of stakeholders in relation to project and risk management advice.
  • Ability and desire to continue learning.

Desirable

  • Civil infrastructure programs work experience.
  • Ability to undertake quantitative risk management analysis.
  • Experience in Local Government.

To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs.
