Parking Patrol Officer

 

1 x Permanent Full Time - 38 hours, 5 days per week
Salary:  $65,333.91 to $71,366.38 pa + Super

Closing Date: 7th May 2024

About the Role:

We are looking for Parking Patrol Officers to join our Community Standards Department to assist in monitoring, patrolling and enforcement of all on street parking, as well as Council’s car parking areas.

 

In this position you will be responsible for:

·         Patrolling and enforcing all on street parking and Council’s car parking areas;

·         Providing information to the public regarding parking laws; and

·         Issuing penalty notices and preparing/presenting evidence at Court when required.

 

About You:

The successful applicant will have:

  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to resolve conflict in efficient and mediation manner
  • Understanding of EEO principles
  • Understanding in regulatory functions and compliance functions within Local Government or equivalent field
  • Experience in preparing evidence and reports on legal matters
  • Experience interpreting legislation
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
