We are seeking a Maintenance Support Officer to join our Properties Unit, to ensure support services for facilities maintenance activities are performed to a high standard.

Reporting to the Team Leader Maintenance Support, this position will support the City by:

  • Supporting the management of a range of contractors and contracts to ensure planned and reactive maintenance is conducted to a high standard.
  • Issuing, analysing and tracking service requests and work orders to appropriate contractors, tradespeople and maintenance officers.
  • Checking payment claims and preparing goods receipts for invoices.
  • Investigating and identifying deficiencies in existing contracts and assisting with the preparation of contract variations.

To be successful in this role you will have a working knowledge of asset management and facility or infrastructure maintenance practices. Knowledge of contract management or accounts payable processes and systems is essential.

You will have experience providing customer service to a diverse group of stakeholders, along with experience using a range of IT software, including MS Office packages.
