About the opportunity

Do you have demonstrated experience in successfully managing programs and services related to economic development, procurement and property and leasing? Are you interested in building social and economic outcomes for our local council and to deliver modern and innovative services? If yes, we would love to hear from you!

Working with the Executive Manager Finance and Economics, this role will assist with the leadership and management of a range of programs and services that contribute to the delivery of the City of Palmerston Community Plan. We are looking for someone with tertiary qualifications in economic development, business management, or commerce, proven ability to contribute to an innovative and positive working environment and a demonstrated knowledge of economic development issues and their practical application in a public sector environment, including the ability to manage change processes.
