An opportunity has become available for an Integrated Planning and Reporting Officer to join our team at Georges River Council, based in Hurstville.  

 

About the Role

Georges River Council is seeking to appoint an Integrated Planning and Reporting Officer who will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive strategic planning and performance reporting that supports the Georges River Council vision and Community Strategic Plan and encourages continuous improvement across the organisation.

 

What we Offer

  • Permanent, Full time - 70 hours per fortnight
  • Salary from $111,220.76 - $128,863.29 per annum plus 11% superannuation (dependant on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

The Successful candidate will have

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated relevant experience
  • A sound working knowledge of the Local Government Act 1993, relevant legislation, policy and best practice in relation to Integrated Planning and Reporting and Strategic Planning
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including scoping, determining project resources, budgeting process, report writing and project delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to produce and edit written material of a high standard without supervision
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of expectations including consultation with stakeholders to ensure best possible fit between Council and community requirements and project outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyse complex issues
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
  • Demonstrated high-level organisation skills, including ability to set work priorities and meet predetermined deadlines and commitment
  • Proven ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive, collaborative and service-oriented relationships
  • Strong commitment to delivering quality customer service
