About the role

This role contributes to the success of the City by undertaking a high quality planned horticulture maintenance and work programs within the City of Hobart's Parks & Reserves.

Role accountabilities include:

  • Maintenance and enhancement of parks, gardens and reserves offering a variety of landscapes for passive recreation. Including heritage parks and natural environments.
  • Undertake regular inspections of parks assets to ensure that all faults and damage are identified and formally reported.

About you

The desired applicant will have Certificate III in Horticulture or related field, coupled with proven experience in the horticulture sector and the ability to organise and undertake work programs to a high standard.
