About the role

As the Customer Liaison Officer, you will be the go-to contact for customers of Water and Sewer services within Central Coast Council. You will be a subject matter expert, providing your expert assistance, information and advice on a range of services to support customers with service interruptions, incidents and complaints. 

Working together in a collaborate team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering continuous improvement across a range of services, to achieve agreed performance standards. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree qualifications in Customer Experience, Service Design, Business Management or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role
  • Experience in customer service, stakeholder management and community relations in a dynamic and face paced environment
  • Well-developed problem solving, negotiation, comprehension and retention skills and demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations

Other important information

  • Salary for this position commences at $82.9k to $99.5k plus 11% superannuation
  • This is a Temporary full-time role
  • This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
  • We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role. 
  • This role is located at the Nexus Building, North Wyong

Council will be creating an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other temporary vacancies.
