ADD VALUE - THE ROLE

In your role you will contribute to important community outcomes and making a real impact for Singleton. The natural diversity of your role means that every day will be different. Your role will include providing assistance in the day to day running of the Animal Management Facility, ensuring animals are safe and healthy. A typical shift might include providing care including feeding and cleaning of the dogs and cats, undertaking basic ground maintenance and associated record keeping.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Animal handling experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • A minimum of Apply First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain and maintain.

This position is offered on a casual basis. Flexibility will be essential in this role as weeknights, weekends and mid-week leave coverage may all be required. 

Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 4 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $34.25 - $38.52 per hour (including casual loading) plus superannuation.
