We deliver 21 key services incorporating childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 370,000 residents. 

The role
CBCity has a unique and rewarding opportunity to join our Regulatory Services unit on a temporary 12-month contract as an Administration Assistant.
Based in Roselands, you will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Regulatory Services unit through day to day office duties including data entry and the maintenance of Council's Registers and Applications. This is a great opportunity to gain broad insight into the entire unit.
 

 

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Regulatory Services unit.
  • Carry out word processing duties including document creation and presentation, merging documents, preparation of letters, spreadsheets and general correspondence.
  • Utilise Council’s Records Management systems for registering and managing Council’s documentation such as iShare, Q-Pulse and Pathway as required.
  • Ensure internal and external customer expectations are met through prompt handling of enquiries.
  • Communicate both formally and informally with the Team Leader, Manager, Director and other teams within the Department.
  • Provide feedback to the Team Leader on improvements in operating procedures.

You will have:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration and/or previous experience in an administrative position.
  • High level computer skills in applications such as Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Ability to work without supervision and to be self-motivated.
  • Ability to monitor and prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience using Pathway and SharePoint is desirable however not essential.

 

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $62,266 (Grade C, Step 1) + 11% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
