Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of an innovative Council seeking to make a positive difference in the community you support? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well-organised and experienced Youth Worker - Programs and Development to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the school holiday and term programs and projects to address the recreational, social and psychological needs of young people aged 10-17 years who use the Lane Cove Youth Centre.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • A current "Paid Worker" - Working with Children clearance (NSW);
  • Diploma in Youth Work, social sciences or relevant field or equivalent qualifications and experience;
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role;
  • Understanding of mandatory reporting.

Salary range - From $1,158.40 to $1,274.30 per week + superannuation, (dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate).
