The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a hard-working individual to operate a variety of plant equipment’s including Skid Steers, Backhoe Loaders and Heavy Combination (HC) vehicles for the primary purpose of maintaining BVSC sealed pavement assets and associated infrastructure.
As a Team Member (Plant Operator Heavy Milling), you will operate plant and trucks on pavement asset maintenance tasks as well as utilise and maintain proprietary software to capture maintenance data. You will assess the condition of the road and determine the most appropriate method of repair and maintenance.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds the following licences and qualifications;
- School Certificate (Year 10) or equivalent
- SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Traffic Controller Qualification
- Implement Traffic Control Plans Qualification
- NSW RMS Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
- HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Proven recent Skid Steer, Backhoe Loader and roller experience working on pavement asset maintenance activities or similar.
- Experience driving Heavy Combination (HC) vehicles.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in pavement asset maintenance works which may include (but not limited to): pavement rehabilitation, stabilisation, repair, material selection and application.
- Experience in operating and using a variety of hand and power tools which may include (but not limited to): plate compactors, chainsaws, spray equipment and pumps.
Benefits
This is a permanent full time position working 38 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $67,975.75 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,172.40 per week base salary
- $134.83 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
