Working with the Parks and Irrigation Team as part of a dedicated and cohesive team, you will be responsible for ensuring our Parks, Gardens and Irrigation system is maintained to a high standard. The city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has 50 small parks 10 hectares of gardens and a fully integrated Potable and Recycled water Irrigation system.
You will be required to supervise work crews, schedule daily/weekly works, plan budgets, involve yourself in future planning as well as keep the City Parks and Gardens maintained to a high level. You have crews that look after and irrigation programing/troubleshooting and maintenance for the whole City. All of the above is to be done in accordance with the city’s safe work practices and policies.
To be considered for this position you will have a Diploma, Cert IV or Cert III in Horticulture or significant experience leading large teams in the Parks and Gardens space as well as holding a relevant class C driver’s license.

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Salary ranges between $91,152 - $108,911
