The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for a proactive, reliable and skilled Senior Water Services Operator to work within a dynamic team at Liverpool Plains. The successful applicant will work as part of a team to deliver reliable and compliant wastewater services by applying your specialist skills, knowledge and experience.

In this role you will be required to work a 7-day spread of hours, on call roster and perform overtime duties (as required). Award loadings and allowances will apply in addition to the base weekly salary.

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.

The council is situated in Quirindi, the heart of the Liverpool Plains, four hours North West of Sydney, famous for its stunning landscapes and rich, highly productive land and is the perfect place to call home.

 What we offer you

We offer a competitive salary between $65,832 - 84,270 gross per annum plus superannuation. A commencing salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on qualifications, skills and experience.
