Principal Statutory Planner

Temporary Full Time – until end September 2025 (Parental leave cover)

Band 7 - $105,898.17 - $118,398.60 per annum (pro-rata) + Planners allowance + super + RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

Due to a staff member going on parental leave, Yarra City Council's Statutory Planning Department is looking for a highly experienced statutory planner to join their team on a temporary basis.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated principal planning professional who wants to work on complex, high profile and interesting applications.

If you are looking for a role in an exciting inner-city location with a high variety of planning applications and are able to juggle multiple tasks, deal with the unexpected and contribute to a collaborative and friendly team environment then we want to hear from you!

To be successful in these roles you will be a dynamic and vibrant team player with a focus on processing planning applications and delivering high level customer service. You will be enthusiastic, innovative, self-motivated and able to work both autonomously and within a team.
